Welcome to The Doubleclicks Archive
The mission of the archive is a simple one. To preserve as much of The Doubleclicks creative work and presence on the internet as is possible, and to be a place where the fruits of this collection can be shared, given context, and enjoyed by anyone who has an interest in the band and its history.
The state of things currently:
Right now, most of my time and energies are still focused on the acquisition side of the archive, along with now learning and experimenting with WordPress. So for the time being, the website will likely just be this simple format, and a place for sharing fun things like the Today in Doubleclicks History posts, and raw data like the collection of Tour and Show posters, and soon, a collection of songs and lyrics that will be the first of what I hope are many fan-collaborative projects that will help make The Doubleclicks Archive a truly outstanding resource.
In addition to this website, we also have a Bluesky feed that echos some of what you’ll find here, and, a YouTube channel where video and audio from the archive that no longer exists elsewhere on the internet can still be enjoyed. 🙂
